Covid Watch - privacy preserving contact tracing application, fully open source

Slow the spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19 by using bluetooth and decentralised contact tracing

COVID Watch aims to empower people to protect their communities from COVID-19, without sacrificing their personal privacy. We are building a decentralised, privacy-preserving app that will alert users if they have been exposed to COVID-19.

We are a group of volunteersresearchers, software engineers, privacy and public health experts — who have developed a privacy-preserving mobile app intervention to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Our mobile app performs automatic decentralised contact tracing using Bluetooth proximity networks.

Our volunteers care strongly about preserving human life and human rights. All data we could collect is voluntary and fully anonymised. All code is transparent. It is open source and could be easily reviewed, reproduced and used anywhere on the planet.

Our team are formally partnered with Stanford University in the US, but are team are globally distributed around the world.
